Care Navigator Apprentice x2

North Beverley Medical Centre is looking for two friendly and enthusiastic Care Navigator Apprentices to join their welcoming reception and administration team.

As a Care Navigator Apprentice, you'll play an important role in helping patients access the right services and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. You'll be supported by an experienced team who are committed to helping you develop your skills and build a rewarding career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming patients and providing excellent customer service.
  • Answering calls and helping patients access the right healthcare services.
  • Booking appointments and managing patient enquiries.
  • Updating patient records and maintaining confidential information.
  • Processing prescriptions, correspondence, and incoming mail.
  • Supporting the reception and administration team with a variety of daily tasks.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Friendly, approachable, and enjoys helping people.
  • A confident communicator with a professional phone manner.
  • Able to work well as part of a team.
  • Organised with good attention to detail.
  • Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Confident using IT, including Microsoft Word and email.
  • Flexible to work between 8:00am and 6:00pm, with occasional cover for annual leave and sickness.
  • GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent).
