BTIS, a nationwide, independent engineering inspection company, is looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Service Delivery Coordinator to join them. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to develop their skills in service coordination, administration and customer service while gaining valuable experience within a professional engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily scheduling of engineering teams to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Act as a key point of contact for client service requests, issue resolution and operational updates.
  • Maintain and update service records confidentially, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and contractual obligations.
  • Maintain accurate account documentation, client communications and service records within BTIS systems.
  • Track inspection progress using BTIS scheduling systems and elevate potential delays or operational risks to line management.
  • Work closely with operational and technical teams to ensure seamless coordination of inspection services.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing service operations.
  • Maintain impartiality and confidentiality in all dealings, in accordance with ISO 17020 and BTIS Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
  • Support the wider team with administrative and coordination duties as required.

Skills & Knowledge

  • GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths – essential.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage tasks and keep accurate records.
  • Team-player mindset and the ability to work positively with colleagues across different areas of the business.
  • A genuine desire to learn and develop new skills.
  • Reliable and dependable, with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Good timekeeping and the ability to manage priorities effectively.
  • Customer service or business administration experience – advantageous but not essential.
