- Answering incoming calls and managing the generic inbox
- Preparing and sending letters
- Processing engineers\' job cards on the CMR system
- Liaising with customers and engineers to ensure smooth communication
- Using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for day-to-day tasks
- Conducting weekly stock takes for engineers
- Negotiating with suppliers for purchasing
- Processing and managing invoices
- Following up on quotes and booking jobs into the system
- Chasing overdue payments
- Analysing van tracker data to produce reports
- Re-routing planners for drivers to save time and costs
- Assisting with social media marketing, including Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram
- Writing letters or emails, creating proposals, performing financial processes, recording and analysing data using IT packages like MS Office
- Producing accurate records and documents, making recommendations for improvements, and reviewing work
- Handling confidential information in compliance with organisational procedures
- Exercising proactivity and good judgement, making effective decisions, and seeking advice when needed
- Building and maintaining positive relationships within and across teams, demonstrating influence and coaching skills
- Demonstrating good communication skills across various platforms and representing the organisation
- Completing tasks to a high standard, reviewing processes, and sharing best practices
- Managing priorities and deadlines, managing resources, organising meetings, and logistics

You will also attend a half-day session with HBTC to work towards functional skills as needed, and additional off-the-job training will be provided.
