Accounts Apprentice Administrator
As JS Power continues to grow, they're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Accounts Apprentice Administrator to join their team and develop a range of skills.
As an Accounts Apprentice Administrator, you'll work alongside experienced members of the team, learning how the day-to-day financial and administrative functions of a successful business operate. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start their career in accounts, administration, or business.
Key Responsibilities
- Inputting purchase and sales invoices accurately into their systems.
- Creating and processing purchase orders.
- Receipting goods into the business, both in person and on their systems.
- Checking paperwork and ensuring information is recorded accurately.
- Carrying out general filing and administrative duties.
- Providing front-of-house support and welcoming visitors.
- Answering incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries appropriately.
- Supporting colleagues with general office and accounts administration.
- Maintaining organised and accurate records.
- Developing an understanding of basic financial and administrative processes.
- Following company procedures and maintaining a professional approach at all times.
Skills & Knowledge
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 or above, or equivalent.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- A willingness to learn new systems and processes.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive and professional attitude.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage tasks effectively.
- Basic computer skills and confidence using IT.
- A genuine interest in developing a career in accounts and administration.
