Trainee Estate/Lettings Agent Apprentice

Link Agency, a fast-growing estate and lettings agency, is looking for an enthusiastic and capable Trainee Estate & Lettings Agent Apprentice to join their team in Goole.

This is an opportunity for someone with the right attitude, a sharp mind, and a willingness to learn to get started in the property industry. You don’t need to know everything on day one, but you do need to be keen to learn, take responsibility, and deliver a great experience for their clients. You’ll play an important role in keeping the business running smoothly, supporting their agents and helping them deliver the high level of service their clients expect.

Key Responsibilities

• Answering enquiries by telephone, email and WhatsApp.
• Arranging appointments for their agents, suppliers and contractors.
• Communicating with clients and helping to ensure their needs are met.
• Keeping their database accurate and up to date.
• Managing property keys and ensuring they are handled securely.
• Creating and posting content across our social media channels.
• Supporting the team with general office administration and day-to-day tasks.
• Learning the skills and knowledge needed to progress in estate agency and lettings.

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong communication skills - You can communicate clearly, confidently and professionally, whether speaking to someone on the phone, replying to a message or dealing with a client face to face.
• A quick learner - You pick things up quickly, think on your feet and enjoy learning new things. You can take information on board and put it into practice.
• Good IT and technology skills - You’re comfortable using computers, apps and digital systems, and you’re confident learning new software and technology.
• Honesty, reliability and trustworthiness are essential. They expect these qualities as standard.
• You should also be organised, proactive, enthusiastic and willing to get stuck in. No two days are necessarily the same, so a positive attitude and a flexible approach are important.
