The predicted salary is between 28800 - 42000 £ per year.
As a post-registration pharmacist, you’ll be fully supported on your journey to becoming a Band 7 clinical pharmacist. You’ll have named mentors who will guide you every step of the way, ensuring you receive the support and supervision needed to excel.
You’ll embark on a comprehensive foundation training programme, which includes:

Studying for the Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy Practice

In-house practice supervision and hands-on mentoring
This is a progression post, designed to take you to the next level. After completing key training milestones–currently year one of the Diploma–and submitting a successful portfolio of evidence, you’ll progress to Band 7, moving into specialist rotations and starting your prescribing qualification.
As a post-registration pharmacist, your core responsibilities will include:

Delivering a clinical pharmacy service to designated wards

Offering expert advice to medical and nursing staff, as well as to patients, on the safe and effective use of medicines

Facilitating medicine reconciliation, discharge planning, and patient counselling

Supporting inpatient dispensaries
To be eligible for this role, you must be aregistered pharmacist or a trainee pharmacist eligible for GPhC registration in January 2025. Offers for Band 7 post will be considered base don previous experience and qualification.

Minimal weekend commitment — just 1 in 8 Saturdays and 1 in 8 Sundays.

After training, you’ll also be part of our on-call team currently with 1 night in 20–plus a buddy system to guide you through those first few calls!
