The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
Rotational technicians will undertake a 12-month development program working across all aspects of the pharmacy department, including in-patient and out-patient dispensaries, distribution, and aseptic services when required.
They also have the opportunity to undertake an accredited checking qualification and may participate in the medicines management service under the direction of lead technicians.
Applicants should hold a BTEC Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Science and NVQ Level 3 in pharmacy services or an equivalent pharmacy qualification, be registered with the GPhC (or able to register upon course completion), and be willing to undertake a competency-based training package to progress through this band.
The successful applicant will join a Band 4 rotation, working one late night shift, weekends, and participating in the bank holiday rota. Most full-time staff work their hours over four days, but flexible working arrangements are supported.
Successful candidates will only be able to take up the post once registration with the GPhC is confirmed.
