The Assistant Buyer and Merchandiser supports the Buying and Merchandising teams by maintaining accurate product data, buy documentation, and stock integrity across assigned brands. The role plays a key part in ensuring products are commercially sound from buy through to launch, supporting smooth day-to-day operations and contributing to well-informed buying and merchandising decisions.
Buying & Product Administration
- Support the Buying team with buysheets, ensuring product details, pricing, sizes, and imagery are complete and accurate.
- Assist with brand onboarding admin, including gathering product data and supporting documentation.
- Conduct Order Confirmation checks to validate product, pricing, and quantity accuracy.
- Complete brand discrepancy reports, flagging inconsistencies across deliveries, data, and documentation.
- Perform simple data pulls and reporting to support buying and trading decisions.
Product Data & Stock Integrity
- Collate, review, and verify product data ahead of uploads to ensure consistency across systems.
- Support product uploads from a data accuracy and merchandising perspective.
- Assist with maintaining clean and reliable product information across internal tools and platforms.
Merchandising Support
- Support Visual Merchandising tasks by organising assets and preparing product content for campaigns and launches.
- Prepare and update Product Files for the design and merchandising teams.
Skills & Experience
- Strong attention to detail and confidence working with product data and documentation.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, shared drives, and internal systems.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working cross-functionally with Buying, Merch, and Operations teams.
- Required: Background buying or merchandising.
