The school is very much at the heart of the Somerset Levels, with a catchment area over 200 sq. miles and community partnership with 11 local primary schools. Huish Episcopi Academy is looking to recruit reliable and professional Exam Invigilators to join our team on a casual basis.
As an Exam Invigilator, you will play an important role in ensuring that examinations run smoothly, fairly and in accordance with awarding body regulations. Working as part of our Data and Exams team, you will supervise students during examinations, assist with setting up exam venues, distribute and collect exam papers, and help create a calm and positive environment that enables students to perform at their best.
We are looking for individuals who:
- Have GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above).
- Are organised, punctual and able to follow procedures accurately.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Have a flexible, helpful and professional approach.
- Are approachable, patient and committed to supporting young people.
- Share our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Previous exam invigilation experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
