My client is a leading BMS company in the London area, looking to bring on a project engineer to work on ongoing projects within the region. As a BMS Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, engineering and commissioning building management systems and associated mechanical/electrical plant in line with contract specifications.

Engineers who have only done commissioning work will be trained on the design side of things, making this a great opportunity for engineers looking to get involved in BMS design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing and developing project documentation, including points lists and descriptions of operations.
  • Writing BMS software and creating bespoke system graphics.
  • Carrying out off‐site panel inspections, software testing and factory acceptance tests.
  • Pre‐commissioning and commissioning BMS control panels and third‐party equipment on site.
  • Attending witness testing and commissioning meetings.
  • Collaborating with project managers to ensure project delivery meets technical and quality standards.
  • Providing technical support to junior engineers and contributing to team development.
  • Maintaining accurate site records, timesheets and documentation.
What We Are Looking For
  • Strong knowledge of the BMS industry with experience in system design, engineering and commissioning.
  • Technical qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (ONC/HNC or above).
  • Knowledge of industry standards and strong IT skills.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence.
  • CSCS card holder.
  • A proactive problem solver with strong communication and time‐management skills.
