Company Profile: The client is a well‐established global engineering company looking to bring on board a commissioning engineer. For candidates who have not worked on BMS systems before, full in‐house training will be provided. The majority of work and projects are commercial, with occasional work in other sectors.
Reporting to: Technical Director.
Salary: £50,000 – 60,000 (dependent on experience).

Aims of the Role:
- Effectively liaise with subcontractors, clients, and the client's team.
- Meet project deadlines and commissioning objectives while working closely with the project manager.
- Commission in line with the client's specifications.
- Review and configure project software and documentation, making modifications as necessary.
- Execute panel modification when necessary.
- Conduct client demonstrations and user training.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
As a commissioning engineer you will report to the Technical Director and, working remotely, oversee the commissioning/pre‐commissioning of controls for all plant and equipment connected to the client's system. You will:
- Communicate regularly with project management, providing progress reports.
- Identify issues and snags that disrupt commissioning works.
- Liaise with subcontractors and clients to ensure correct execution of design.
- Work independently and as part of a team as required.
- Possess knowledge of non‐proprietary protocols such as Modbus, mBus, and BACnet (advantageous).
- Focus on projects within London and surrounding areas.
