We are currently looking for a Level 2 plant operator to join our Preston team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Co‑ordinate work in a team environment
- Responsible for quality standards
- Provide direction and guidance to other employees, including the ability to assist in the provision of on‑the‑job training and induction
- Perform duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and instructions
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment
- Licensed forklift driver (must be required to operate more than twenty hours per week)
Indicative tasks include:
- General cleaning
- Operation of one or more machines (where required)
- Leo operator – including printer set‑up and operation
- Pulper operator
- The safe and efficient movement and storage of all finished products from the machines within the plant area and warehouse
