Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure equipment is set up to the relevant specification and monitor product quality as required.
- Meet all production requirements to the best of the Operator's ability and maximise machine outputs at all times.
- Communicate effectively with the shift leader and keep them informed of production status, highlighting any issues or problems as they arise.
- Undertake fault finding activities when equipment problems occur and conduct repairs or adjustments where possible.
- Contact Engineering when repairs by the Operator are not possible or within capability.
- Complete first off checks to quality standards and perform adjustments if needed.
- Ensure minimum wastage of materials at all times through effective machine operation.
- Conduct effective shift handovers.
- Keep work areas clean and tidy up to Huhtamaki hygiene standards.
- Work effectively as a team member.
