We are looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the management of all HUGO BOSS concessions within John Lewis. The role will focus primarily on maintaining and developing strong relationships with store management teams to ensure our brand receives optimal focus and exposure. This role is essential for ensuring that our brand is consistently represented across all locations, adhering to merchandising guidelines, and meeting sales targets.
What you can expect:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance sales across the region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with department store management teams to ensure our brand is prioritised in terms of visibility and merchandising.
- Perform routine inventory checks, oversee restocking processes, and manage product recalls.
- Consistently uphold high standards of visual merchandising across all concession areas.
- Monitor and ensure that brand guidelines are implemented consistently across all concession points.
- Collaborate with store managers to optimise product placement, promotional activity, and stock levels to drive sales.
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure concessions are well-maintained and visually appealing, in line with brand standards.
- Provide feedback to department store teams on product performance and recommend improvements to drive footfall and sales.
- Analyse sales performance across different locations, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
- Work closely with the marketing and merchandising teams to ensure that promotional campaigns are effectively executed at the concession level.
- Develop and deliver training and support materials for store staff to ensure they understand our brand, products, and sales techniques.
Your profile:
- Proven experience managing a high turnover retail environment.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with senior retail managers.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring brand consistency across multiple retail locations.
- Ability to analyse sales data and use it to inform decision-making.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Flexibility to travel to different concession locations as needed.
