Hughes Plumbing is an established and growing plumbing and heating company covering Rugby, Warwickshire and surrounding areas. We specialise in high-quality installations including:

With a strong reputation, a skilled team and modern systems including job management software, we are now looking for an organised and commercially minded Finance & Credit Control Coordinator to support the next stage of growth within the business.
The Role
This is a key position within the company focused on helping maintain strong financial organisation, healthy cashflow and efficient administration across the business. You will work closely with the Director and office team to help ensure invoicing, supplier management, customer accounts and financial administration are kept accurate, organised and running efficiently. We are looking for somebody proactive, detail-focused and confident communicating with both customers and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Finance & Credit Control
- Customer invoicing
- Credit control and debt chasing
- Monitoring outstanding balances
- Assisting with supplier payments
- Purchase order administration
- Supporting weekly cashflow visibility
- Assisting with job costing and profitability tracking
- Tracking variations and additional works
- Administration & Systems
- Fergus administration and job updates
- Ensuring engineer paperwork and certificates are completed
- Supporting smooth workflow between office and engineers
- Customer communication and account queries
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Helping improve internal systems and processes
What We’re Looking For
- Previous finance, accounts and administration experience
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and telephone manner
- Confident using computer systems and software
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
- Professional and proactive attitude
- Credit control experience
- Experience using Fergus and Xero
- Construction, trades or service industry experience
