The Role
To ensure the smooth day-to-day running of production by working collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality products that meet customer specifications, achieve production targets, and comply with all company, food safety, and health & safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily production tasks to support efficient operations.
- Work as part of a team to maximise output and meet production targets.
- Ensure products meet quality, specification, and labelling requirements.
- Follow GMP, hygiene, and all Health & Safety procedures at all times.
- Minimise waste and ensure correct stock handling and rotation.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and core values.
Essential Criteria
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Experience in a food manufacturing, production, or similar fast-paced environment (e.g. FMCG).
- Understanding of working to production targets and deadlines.
- Awareness of Food Safety, Quality and Health and Safety Standards.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Criteria
- Food Safety Level 2 or Level 3 certification.
- Health & Safety qualification.
