Pattern: Rotating schedule every 3 weeks - no nights/continentals!
- Week 1: Monday- Friday / 0600 – 1500
- Week 2: Monday – Friday / 1000 – 1900
- Week 3: 3 week days / 0800 – 1700, Saturday – Sunday / 0700 - 1700
Hours: 40 hours per week - Overtime at 1.25x above 40 hours

The Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will provide day-to-day electrical maintenance across all machinery, services, and facilities within our operations. You will play a key role in ensuring production uptime is maintained and maximised by delivering prompt fault diagnosis, effective repairs, and proactive engineering solutions. This role supports manufacturing operations through technical expertise, electrical project work, continuous improvement initiatives, and strict adherence to health, safety, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide electrical maintenance cover to production operations, diagnosing and resolving breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime.
- Safely dismantle and reassemble machinery to carry out inspections, repairs, and fault finding.
- Respond rapidly to equipment failures to restore operational capability efficiently.
- Accurately log, update, and close all planned maintenance activities within the maintenance management system.
- Record and manage all reactive maintenance tasks using the Maintenance Request Database, ensuring clear documentation and timely completion.
- Undertake electrical project work from installation through to commissioning, delivering in line with agreed plans and specifications.
- Identify opportunities for system enhancements and contribute to continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.
- Provide technical expertise and support within the engineering team and across operational departments.
- Liaise effectively with external contractors to ensure safe working practices and optimal technical solutions.
- Conduct effective shift handovers to Team Leaders and Management to maintain clear communication and operational continuity.
Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations.
