As Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for leading and continuously improving the company’s Health and Safety strategy, systems and culture, ensuring compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory and company requirements.
You will provide expert Health and Safety advice and leadership across the business, driving effective risk management, incident prevention, occupational health, contractor safety and emergency preparedness.
Working closely with senior management and operational teams, you will promote employee engagement, continuous improvement and accountability, ensuring Health and Safety considerations are embedded into business decisions and day-to-day operational activities.

- Lead and continuously improve H&S systems, policies and standards.
- Promote a strong safety culture, accountability and employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant H&S legislation and regulations.
- Lead risk assessments and maintain effective safe working practices.
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, driving corrective actions.
- Deliver inspections, audits and performance reviews to identify key risks.
- Manage occupational health, environmental and workplace safety risks.
- Oversee contractor safety, permits and high-risk work activities.
- Deliver HSE training, toolbox talks and safety awareness initiatives.
- Advise senior management and drive continuous H&S improvement.
Requirements
- NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, or equivalent Level 6 qualification.
- Significant HSE experience (5+ years)
- Strong knowledge of Northern Ireland H&S legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, auditing and corrective actions.
- Strong knowledge of process safety, machinery safety and machine safeguarding.
- Experience managing H&S performance, KPIs, compliance and continual improvement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
