Purpose of Job
Ensuring the safe and efficient production of crops grown and packed at LJ Betts.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring a high quality standard of work at all times.
- Ensuring targets are met on harvesting performance (quality, speed, and attendance).
- Comply with all crop assurance protocols.
- Ensuring all related food safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to.
- Ensuring all machinery and equipment is used safely and with respect.
- To consider product safety, legality, and quality in all tasks undertaken.
- Be aware of the Health and Safety policy: You should be mindful of your own safety and the safety of those around you.
- You should immediately report any issues or concerns relating to Health and Safety to your Team Leader.
Job Requirements
- Must be able to regularly complete physically demanded tasks.
- Must be able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Ability to work within a Team and to carry out tasks and assignments to completion within the parameters of instructions given and to standard accepted practices.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions.
