Description: Assessor in Childcare & Work Placement Coordinator at Healthcare Campus, Liverpool. Part-Time, Permanent (14 hours per week). £12,360 based on a Full-Time Equivalent Salary of £30,900. 40 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays (pro rata for part-time hours). Role: We are seeking an Assessor in Childcare & Work Placement Coordinator to join our Childcare team. This role will involve coordinating work placements and assessing learners in the workplace across our Level 2, Level 3 and T Level Early Years programmes. The successful candidate will be an experienced assessor with a recognised assessor qualification and a strong understanding of the Early Years sector. From day one, you will work directly with learners and employers, carrying out workplace assessments, monitoring progress and ensuring learners achieve their qualifications successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise, assess, and monitor student placements across multiple programmes
  • Identify and develop high-quality placement opportunities
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure health and safety compliance
  • Engage with students to align placement goals with curriculum outcomes
  • Assess learners in line with awarding body criteria and complete timely documentation
  • Collaborate with curriculum teams and employers to maintain quality standards

Essential Requirements:

  • Hold a recognised Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA or equivalent).
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to transport for workplace visits.
  • Have experience assessing Level 2 and Level 3 Childcare qualifications in the workplace.
  • Have experience working with employers and supporting learners in industry placements.
