Role
We are seeking a Lecturer Assessor in Property Maintenance / Multi-Trade to join our Construction Apprenticeships team. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the next generation of skilled tradespeople by delivering high-quality teaching and assessment to learners on the Property Maintenance Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard.

Key Responsibilities
- Teaching and assessing apprentices in property maintenance and multi-trade disciplines.
- Delivering engaging, inclusive, and industry-relevant lessons and workplace assessments.
- Supporting learners’ progress through effective feedback, pastoral care, and career-focused guidance.
- Developing curriculum materials and contributing to course innovation and improvement.
- Maintaining accurate records of learner progress and achievement.
- Participating in open evenings, employer engagement events, and CPD activities.
Criteria
- A minimum of a relevant Level 3 vocational qualification.
- A teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd or equivalent).
- Assessor and/or Verifier Awards or equivalent.
- Recent industry experience in property maintenance and multi-trades.
- Detailed knowledge of relevant Apprenticeship standard subject matter and examination and assessment requirements.
- Track record of successful teaching experience across a range of levels including up to level 3
