HUGGARD is Wales’ leading centre for adults experiencing homelessness and rough sleeping in Cardiff. As a charity, HUGGARD provides emergency housing, health care, and tailored support to people in crisis. The organization operates 24/7 as a vital safety net, offering immediate assistance and a safe place to stay. HUGGARD works alongside individuals to break the cycle of homelessness, supporting recovery, stability, and reintegration into the community. The team is committed to ending homelessness through collaborative, person‑centered services.

Night Workers support clients during the night, book in and assess people, and ensure the site is safe and secure. They help people entering our emergency accommodation and living with us long term to have a good night's rest.

Schedule: 7 days in 14 days, 11‑hour shifts with a one‑hour break, one weekend in two. Working from 8 pm to 8 am.

Contract: 38.5 hours per week, fixed term until April 2027, salary £28,598 per annum.
