HUESKER UK Limited is seeking a proactive and commercially minded Area Engineer to support the development and application of HUESKER's geosynthetic solutions across the Midlands, Southwest, and Wales. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically focused engineer with a background in geotechnical, geoenvironmental, environmental, or marine engineering to apply their knowledge in realâworld projects across diverse civil engineering sectors, including:
- Earthworks and Foundations
- Roads and Pavements
- Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and advice to consultants, contractors, and clients on HUESKER products and design applications.
- Conduct site visits, project meetings, and technical presentations to demonstrate product capabilities and assist with design recommendations.
- Identify and develop new project opportunities through technical engagement and relationship building.
- Represent HUESKER at regional industry events, exhibitions, and CPD seminars.
- Manage projects and enquiries within your region, ensuring consistent followâup and support through to delivery.
Your Profile
- Degreeâqualified in Civil, Geotechnical, Geoenvironmental, Environmental, or Hydraulic/Marine Engineering (or a related discipline).
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a consultancy role or working directly with geosynthetics.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence in engaging both technical and nonâtechnical audiences.
- An engineer with an interest in business development and the commercial side of the civil engineering industry.
- Selfâmotivated and able to work independently, with regular travel across the region.
- Full UK driving licence.
