Overview
National Account Manager – Grocery role at Huel. This position focuses on managing grocery accounts, driving growth, and supporting Huel’s UK retail ambitions.
Role and responsibilities
- Manage our existing Grocery customers. Build strong, strategic relationships that help drive rapid growth for Huel and for the category.
- Identify and win new revenue opportunities and gain listings for our NPD. Open up new category relationships and nurture the relationship on-going.
- Full P&L responsibility — deliver and surpass budgeted financial and distribution targets.
- Track Huel’s performance within the category; understand key drivers of performance and share insights internally and with customers. Be viewed as a reliable source of insight.
- Analyse data to help build sales presentations and identify opportunities.
- Accurately forecast to ensure stock availability and effective planning.
- Spot and seek out opportunities to drive Huel with retailers.
What we’re looking for
- Experience managing grocery accounts (e.g., Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda or Morrisons) is essential; circa 3+ years in Grocery, NAM or NAE roles, with a track record of success.
- Commercially astute with thorough understanding of P&L and numbers.
- Strong negotiator who remains calm under pressure.
- Experience launching new products or entering new categories is preferred.
- Ability to analyse category data to identify opportunities and create selling stories with the category manager to show customer and market performance.
