As the Finance Business Partner for Huel’s D2C channel, you will own the global D2C P&L and partner with marketing teams to drive data‑driven spend decisions across all channels. You will support strategic growth in D2C, retail, and Amazon by providing financial insight, rigorous planning, and ROI analysis.
Responsibilities
- Act as primary finance lead for the global D2C channel, building strong relationships with trading and marketing teams and providing proactive financial challenge and support.
- Monitor and manage key D2C KPIs to keep teams focused on growth‑driving metrics.
- Interpret the interplay between new customer acquisition and repeat purchase, advising trading teams on balancing both to maximise channel growth and profitability.
- Own the D2C P&L, ensuring accurate cost allocation, integrity of channel reporting and timely performance commentary.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for D2C and marketing spend, with realistic, strategy‑aligned plans and risk management.
- Model growth initiatives and scenario planning for the D2C channel, identifying risks and opportunities beyond standard cycles, and work with trading teams to mitigate or capitalize on them.
- Oversee the overarching view of global omnichannel revenue performance, including Retail and Amazon, and serve as the primary liaison for omnichannel marketing spend.
- Advise on allocation and investment decisions to maximise return on spend, working with marketing and data teams to improve attribution and measure cross‑channel ROAS, and own the digital marketing effectiveness framework with focus on LTV and CAC.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 5+ years post‑qualified experience and proven business partnering.
- Hands‑on e‑commerce experience, preferably within FMCG or consumer goods.
- Strong understanding of marketing finance, including LTV, CAC, ROAS, contribution margin and broader marketing metrics (awareness, consideration, impressions).
- Effective communicator who can influence and build trust with senior non‑finance stakeholders.
- Commercially curious, highly analytical and genuinely interested in understanding the business beyond numbers.
- Capability to build complex financial models and explain outputs simply and commercially.
- Calm, effective under competing demands, comfortable with ambiguity, able to set direction independently and curious about how AI is changing finance.
