We are now hiring a Shopper Marketing Manager to help us win at the point of purchase and drive in‑store sales across the UK. This is a role with real ownership. You will lead the strategy and execution that connects brand momentum to the shelf – building retailer relationships, delivering best‑in‑class activations and ensuring Huel stands out where purchase decisions are made.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the development and delivery of the annual UK shopper marketing plan, aligning activation strategy with brand objectives, retailer priorities and commercial targets.
  • Own and manage the shopper marketing budget, allocating investment across in‑store, trade, digital retail media and sampling to maximise return.
  • Building strong relationships with key retail partners, including buyers and category teams at Tesco, Sainsbury’s and other major accounts, to land best‑in‑class activations and secure incremental visibility.
  • Leading the creation of compelling sell‑in materials, retailer presentations and activation toolkits that bring the Huel brand to life at shelf and online.
  • Oversee POS, display, sampling and digital‑to‑store activity across the full retailer estate, ensuring consistent execution and brand standards.
  • Partner closely with the Brand and Media teams to connect above‑the‑line awareness with in‑store execution, ensuring campaigns work seamlessly across the full shopper journey.
  • Track and report on campaign performance, category data and shopper insight, using data to refine strategy, demonstrate ROI and inform future investment decisions.
  • Manage, coach and develop junior members of the team, building shopper marketing capability as Huel’s retail presence grows.

Qualifications

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in shopper marketing, trade marketing or a closely related field, either in‑house at an FMCG brand or agency side.
  • Proven experience working with major UK grocery retailers and a clear understanding of navigating retailer relationships and sell‑in processes.
  • A strong commercial instinct – comfortable working with category data, sales performance metrics and ROI frameworks to make smart investment decisions.
  • Experience managing or mentoring others, with the confidence to influence cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • A strong eye for what makes great in‑store work, with the ability to brief creatives and push for executions that genuinely stand out on shelf.
  • Curious, commercially minded and able to connect the dots between great shopper marketing and real sales impact.
  • Someone who brings good energy to the team and is excited to grow with one of the UK’s most exciting food brands.
