Huel has grown into a global business, with strong D2C, retail, and marketplace channels across international markets. But it all started in the UK—our original market and the foundation of our journey 10 years ago. As our UK business matures, we are looking for a UK Online Trading Manager to ensure we can deliver our commercial objectives.
You will be responsible for trading the uk.huel.com website; defining commercial activity then aligning business functions on its execution, providing insight and driving actions that improve performance, and being ultimately responsible for delivering sales and profit targets while maximising new customer conversion and LTV.
With this being a brand new role, you will have the chance to take ownership of our UK digital trading processes and build a name for yourself at Huel. Here’s an insight into your day-to-day:
Responsibilities
- Responsible for constantly optimising the customer journey on the UK website and driving improvements to the overall customer experience
- Acts as the go-to person for any query related to the performance of the UK market
- Accountable for defining and delivering the market activity plan coordinating the execution across channels, including marketing campaigns, discounts & product launches
- Responsible for driving the completion of reactive trade actions across teams
- Works with performance marketing, partnerships and supply chain teams to drive efficiency across cost base
- Leads the weekly and monthly UK trading touchpoints with the Huel SLT
- Works with the Head of Trading & Optimisation to define the UK playbook for growth, setting the roadmap of trading initiatives to grow revenue, profit, new customer number and repeat rate
- Responsible for creating the benefit cases for UK trading initiatives; works with Finance to model activity to ensure profitability
- Leads on designated trading vertical at global level (product, profit, retention, UX)
- Responsible for all market forecasting

- At least 4 years of experience in digital trading roles, preferably with experience at a manager level, or experience in a subscription-based business
- Strong analytical and commercial background
