The role We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Technical Coordinator to support our Regulatory & Compliance and wider Technical team. This role sits at the centre of a fast‑paced, detail‑driven environment, ensuring testing, accreditation, and technical processes run smoothly across our global supply chain. You’ll play a key role in coordinating testing schedules, managing third‑party accreditations, supporting retailer onboarding, and keeping critical documentation and systems up to date. It’s a great opportunity for someone who thrives on organisation, enjoys working cross‑functionally, and wants to build experience in food quality, compliance, and technical operations.

  • Testing schedule coordination – Maintain and manage the finished product and raw material testing schedules across co‑manufacturers and Huel MK; track sample submissions, results, and timelines; escalation of any flags to the relevant technical lead.
  • Third‑party accreditation management – Track renewal dates and manage annual review submissions for existing products. Coordinate new product applications and liaise with accreditation bodies. Schedule and track co‑manufacturer and Huel accreditation audits. Support onboarding administration for new accreditation bodies.
  • Retailer onboarding – Coordinate and complete technical queries to a successful launch on retailers' platforms.
  • Customer query support – Triage and coordinate responses to customer queries on allergens, labelling, and compliance topics, gathering relevant information from specifications or technical managers.
  • Horizon scanning including review of daily and monthly trending. Verify supplier raw material certificates of analysis, releasing these on our internal system (WMS) and flagging any out of specification results. Raising non‑conformances for finished products, packaging and ingredients across our supply chain. Manage supplier, co‑manufacturer and internal queries through Slack and shared email inboxes to ensure documents and information are available to those that need them.

What we’re looking for in you

  • Strong organisational and time management skills – Able to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines without dropping the ball.
  • Experience in an administrative, coordination, or operations support role; exposure to a food, science or manufacturing environment is an advantage but not essential.
  • Confident using data tracking tools such as Excel or Google Sheets to maintain schedules, budgets and reporting.
  • Clear and professional communicator – Able to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders, external labs, manufacturers and certification bodies.
  • Methodical and detail‑oriented with a commitment to accuracy in record‑keeping and documentation.
  • Proactive and self‑sufficient – Comfortable taking ownership of workstreams and following up without prompting.
  • Confident with AI or interested in using AI as an administrative tool – experience using AI to increase efficiency is a bonus.
