The role
We’re looking for a Marketplace Executive to help drive the next phase of our marketplace growth in Japan. You’ll support the day-to-day management of our Amazon marketplace while playing a key role in launching and growing our Rakuten store. From optimising product listings and advertising campaigns to supporting major promotional events and ensuring inventory is in the right place at the right time, you’ll be responsible for helping deliver an outstanding customer experience while driving commercial performance.
- Manage FBA inventory planning and stock availability, working closely with Supply Chain to maintain healthy inventory levels and minimise stock issues.
- Optimise product listings, content and SEO to maximise visibility, conversion and organic performance.
- Plan, execute and continually optimise Amazon advertising campaigns to improve ROAS and drive profitable growth.
- Coordinate the creation and localisation of marketplace creative assets alongside our Creative team.
- Lead the planning and execution of key promotional activity, including major sales events, coupons and points campaigns.
- Monitor marketplace performance, producing regular reports and using data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Create and optimise brand pages, product detail pages, landing pages and campaign assets.
- Manage advertising activity, including RPP campaigns, to support customer acquisition and revenue growth.
- Develop initiatives that encourage customer reviews and strengthen Huel’s marketplace presence.
- Work collaboratively with Customer Experience, Commercial, Supply Chain, Creative and Engineering teams to deliver marketplace projects and continuously improve operational efficiency.
What we're looking for in you
- A Native Japanese speaker who can speak and understand a business acumen level of English.
- Marketplace, Marketing or Operations experience – knowledge of marketplaces, ideally Amazon and/or Rakuten.
- Analytical Mindset – Confident working with Excel or Google Sheets to analyse data, identify trends and make recommendations.
- Ownership – Proactive, organised and happy taking responsibility for your area, managing priorities and driving projects forward.
- Collaboration – Able to build strong relationships across multiple teams and work effectively with stakeholders across the business.
- Attention to Detail – Highly organised with a keen eye for detail, ensuring marketplace content, campaigns and operational processes are delivered to a high standard.
