An exciting opportunity has arisen for a degree-qualified Materials Engineer / Metallurgist to join a specialist technical team supporting customers across aerospace, motorsport, defence, medical, energy, nuclear, and advanced engineering sectors.
The Role
- Provide metallurgical and technical support to customers and internal teams.
- Prepare, etch, and assess microstructures.
- Support mechanical, physical, and chemical testing activities.
- Handle chemicals safely in accordance with COSHH regulations.
- Assist with laboratory activities and customer training sessions.
Requirements
- BEng/BSc in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy.
- Experience with metallography, microstructure analysis, and laboratory testing.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

- Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 16:00
- Friday: 07:00 - 15:30 (37 hours per week)
