Hue Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established business for a Key Accounts Administrator.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a small, friendly and supportive team, where you'll play a key role in managing customer accounts and ensuring exceptional service from order through to delivery.

The successful candidate will enjoy a varied role, working closely with customers, suppliers, transport providers and internal departments to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders received via telephone, email and customer portals.
  • Handle customer and supplier enquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Prepare sales, shipping and customs documentation.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and account information.
  • Liaise with the Sales, Warehouse, Logistics, Planning and Finance teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Arrange and monitor deliveries with transport providers and carriers.
  • Create customs declarations using the Trader Support Service (TSS) portal.
  • Resolve customer order, delivery and service queries.
  • Provide post cover and general administrative support when required.
  • Act as the site's Fire Safety Head Marshal (full training provided).

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A reliable, flexible and professional attitude.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales support, account administration or a similar office-based role.
  • Experience using customer portals and order processing systems.
  • Knowledge of customs or export documentation.
  • Salary & Benefits
  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm, Friday: 8:30am – 4:30pm.
  • 21 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
