We are currently recruiting a Machine and Warehouse Operator for a well-established organisation in Biggleswade. This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for a reliable and hardworking individual seeking long-term stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely lift, move, and store goods
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Operate machinery including a Herbert Capstan Lathe, band saw, and other laboratory equipment
- Produce laboratory test pieces from technical drawings
- Operate forklift trucks
What We’re Looking For
- A positive, proactive team player with a strong work ethic
- Forklift experience preferred (Reach or Counterbalance desirable – training provided)
- A strong commitment to safety and following procedures
Benefits
- Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00, Friday: 07:00 – 15:30 (37 hours per week)
