About the Company
We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our well-established client, who is seeking several reliable Warehouse Operatives to join their growing team in Luton. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity within a chilled environment — perfect for candidates seeking stability and a long-term career path.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and packing orders efficiently and accurately
- Safely lifting and moving boxes within the warehouse
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the work area
- Following health and safety guidelines at all times
- Assisting with inventory management and documentation
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in chilled warehousing is a plus but not essential
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic Maths skills and good English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Ideally have own transport due to the site location
- Must have own safety boots
Benefits:
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7am – 5pm
- Pay rate: £12.75 per hour, increasing to £13.00 per hour upon becoming permanent
- Occasional Sunday overtime (9am – 1pm) paid at £19.12 per hour (time and a half)
