Duties:
- Removing old carpeting and flooring.
- Rolling out, measuring, and cutting carpets/vinyl flooring to size.
- Gluing or stapling carpets/underlay.
- Finishing edges with wall trimmers when required.
- Correcting imperfections.
- Loading/unloading vehicles.
- Liaising with customers.
Job Requirements:
- Previous work experience as a carpet/floor installer (one year required).
- Good analytical and mathematical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Basic computer skills.
- Flexible approach and willingness to work as a team player.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with hand and power tools.
- Ability to work standing, kneeling, and crouching for extended periods.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to work on your own and use own initiative.
- Full UK driving license an advantage.
- Good time management.
