A leading US law firm is expanding its London office and is seeking an experienced Document Services Specialist to support a growing volume of high-quality, time-sensitive document work. This role suits someone who enjoys precision, thrives in a fast-paced legal environment, and works confidently with senior stakeholders. Reporting to the Document Services Director, with day-to-day support from the Document Services Supervisor, you’ll provide document production support to Partners, Associates, and business professionals across the London office.

The role is working from the London office 4 days per week, with 1 day working from home. The working hours can be either 10am – 6pm or 11am – 7pm and the firm are offering a very generous starting salary of up to £55,000 per annum. Plus the firm also offer a very impressive perks and benefits package including full health care, 10% non-contributory pension, and a generous annual bonus.

Key responsibilities:

  • Produce, edit, and troubleshoot documents using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio (2016)
  • Use specialist legal document tools including DocXtools, Best Authority, OmniPage Pro, Contract Companion, and Nuance Power PDF
  • Create and edit forms using Adobe Acrobat DC
  • Deliver accurate work to tight deadlines, often across multiple assignments
  • Collaborate with colleagues on complex document projects
  • Work directly with Associates and Partners
  • Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality

Required skills & experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a legal or professional services environment
  • Expert proficiency in Word and Excel, with advanced skills in PowerPoint and Visio
  • Experience with tools such as DocXtools, Best Authority, Litera Change-Pro, iManage, Adobe Acrobat DC, Contract Companion, Nuance Power PDF, OmniPage Pro, and Outlook (desirable)
  • Strong proofreading skills and familiarity with legal and business terminology
  • Ability to work calmly and professionally in a busy, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise
