The opportunity: We’re looking for a commercially minded Management Accountant to join our Finance team at Hudson Talent Solutions. This is an EU-based role with a global remit, supporting our Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) division within Hudson Global, Inc. Working closely with the Financial Controller and senior stakeholders across the business, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality management reporting, strengthening financial controls, and providing insight that supports informed decision-making. This role suits someone who enjoys partnering with the business, thrives in a multi-entity environment, and brings a continuous improvement mindset.
What you’ll be doing:
- You’ll take ownership of end‑to‑end management accounting across assigned client accounts and cost centres, ensuring accuracy, insight, and compliance across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
- Delivering month‑end close activities including accruals, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Preparing periodic management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) with clear variance analysis and commercially focused commentary.
- Producing monthly management reports that support operational and strategic decision‑making.
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls, group policies, and UK/EU audit requirements.
- Preparing annual statutory financial statements.
- Supporting the global tax team with corporate tax and payroll‑related returns.
- Analysing financial performance to support medium‑ and long‑term planning, budgets, and forecasts.
- Acting as a trusted finance partner to non‑finance stakeholders, advising on the financial impact of business decisions.
- Monitoring spend against budget and supporting strong cost control.
- Translating financial data into clear, meaningful insights for operational teams.
- Reviewing financial systems and contributing to process and automation improvements.
- Supporting wider Finance team initiatives and priorities as required.

What we’re looking for:
- Newly qualified accountant (ACA, CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Around 3 years’ experience in a Management Accountant or Finance Business Partner role within a commercial environment.
- Strong experience in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Proven ability to partner with senior non‑finance stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems.
- Working knowledge of FRS102, US GAAP, and IFRS.
- Strong understanding of VAT.
- Commercially curious, with a clear understanding of how organisations operate and manage resources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and prioritisation skills.
- Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work remotely, with flexibility to travel domestically and internationally when required.
- Experience within RPO, recruitment, professional services, or contract‑based business models.
- Experience supporting UK and EU operations or internationally distributed teams.
- Power BI or similar reporting and visualisation tools.
- Experience with the Exact financial system.
