Role Overview: This Leadership role sits at the heart of a high performing RPO team embedded within a global investment bank. You will own the front office recruiting remit across capital markets and asset management while leading and developing a small team of specialist recruiters. Role Purpose: Reporting into the RPO Resourcing Director, you will carry dual accountability, driving delivery of senior and critical hires across the front office business lines and providing day to day leadership and coaching to your team. This is not a hands off management role; you will be working an active desk alongside your recruiters, holding key stakeholder relationships and owning the more complex searches.
As a Recruitment Lead you will have responsibility for:
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for experienced hire recruitment across capital markets and asset management
- Leading, coaching and developing a team of embedded recruiters across the front office portfolio
- Setting the standard for quality, speed and stakeholder engagement across the team
- Establishing and nurturing relationships with key client stakeholders to build credibility and delivery capabilities
- Acting as a trusted Advisor to the business/client to negotiate & influence strategy and outcome
- Building and maintaining deep talent networks across the front office disciplines (EMEA market)
- Proactively sourcing and networking with candidates directly utilising a range of innovative sourcing methods
- Promoting the employer brand within the external talent market, consistently delivering key messaging from the firm’s Employer Value Proposition
- Providing stakeholders with market data and insights to assess talent pipeline for current and future needs as well as facilitate feedback conversations with key stakeholders and candidates
- Building strong partnerships with hiring leaders, establishing the credibility to provide a truly consultative service to the business on how to improve process and enhance the candidate experience
- Delivering exceptional candidate care through all stages of the recruitment process, ensuring that successful and unsuccessful candidates alike have a positive experience engaging with the brand
- Partnering with the RPO Resourcing Director on capacity planning performance and continuous improvement
Required Experience and Competencies:
- An experienced recruitment leader with a strong track record across front office financial services either in-house or RPO.
- Comfortable owning senior searches independently while also developing others.
- A credible, confident presence with senior stakeholders, knowing how to manage expectations, push back when needed and earn trust quickly.
- A natural leader who motivates through example and genuinely invests in the people around them.
- Commercially minded, with a solutions first mindset.
