Role Overview: If you are an experienced Front Office recruiter with experience of working within Corporate Finance, M&A, Investment Banking, and Traditional Commodities/Global Markets or more broadly within the Banking and/or Financial Services sector, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team onsite at our prestigious Financial Services client based in London. Working closely with the Recruitment Lead, you will provide a superior recruitment service and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Role Purpose: To drive experienced hire recruitment for Macquarie’s Front Office business in the EMEA region, and develop appropriate sourcing strategies for each position and manage the process through to completion. You will be managing and developing key internal relationships and driving engagement with the Onsite Recruitment Team and Centre of Excellence colleagues, partnering with Macquarie People & Culture colleagues and Hiring Managers. In addition, you will cultivate relationships externally with 3rd party agencies, candidates, social networking communities and job boards to achieve your objectives.
As a Senior Recruiter you will have responsibility for:
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for experienced hire recruitment within the portfolio
- Establishing and nurturing relationships with key client stakeholders to build credibility and delivery capabilities
- Acting as a trusted Advisor to the business/client to negotiate & influence strategy and outcome
- Creating and delivering creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage top talent in the market
- Proactively sourcing and networking with candidates directly utilising a range of innovative sourcing methods
- Actively driving the recruitment supply chain to ensure optimal partnering and results, including supplier management
- Partnering with on-site clients locally and globally, including HR Business Partners, Reward, Employee Relations and Compliance specialists, to construct and negotiate complex offers and navigate regulatory requirements
- Managing offers and on-boarding for candidates, ensuring best practice is maintained throughout all processes and procedures
- Ensuring internal and regulatory compliance is adhered to throughout the recruitment end to end process
- Working closely with colleagues in the Resourcing team to ensure delivery in line with client Service Level Agreements
- Taking an active role in Resourcing and wider HR project work, including diversity hiring and recruiting events & activities
- Promoting the employer brand within the external talent market, consistently delivering key messaging from the firm’s Employer Value Proposition
- Providing stakeholders with market data and insights to assess talent pipeline for current and future needs as well as facilitate feedback conversations with key stakeholders and candidates
- Building strong partnerships with hiring leaders, establishing the credibility to provide a truly consultative service to the business on how to improve process and enhance the candidate experience
- Delivering exceptional candidate care through all stages of the recruitment process, ensuring that successful and unsuccessful candidates alike have a positive experience engaging with the brand
Required Experience and Competencies:
- 15+ years of relevant recruitment experience gained in-house or via a RPO
- Experience of working effectively with hiring managers and HR colleagues to fill time-sensitive positions in a fast paced and dynamic Banking or Financial Services business, within a Front Office environment
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building focus coupled with excellent communication and influencing skills
- Open minded, inventive with commercial thinking and a solution-focused mindset
- Strong achievement drive, resilience, flexibility and commitment to delivery with a service orientated mindset
- Team player with proven ability to multi-task and deliver to tight deadlines
- Expertise across a broad range of sourcing channels, including social media
