SMT Technician to carry out manufacturing process steps for the assembly of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and assemble products to agreed quality levels to meet customer expectations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Set up and run SMT lines to specified efficiency and process quality levels.
- Ensure the product meets IPC 610 to the specified class.
- Input and preparation of process control documentation including first-off inspection.
- Work closely with the Engineering team and other technicians to support fault-finding and innovative solutions.
- Ensure you are familiar with the department’s output production targets.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and update databases to meet the requirements of the quality management system.
- Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.
- Maintain the highest level of workmanship and product standards, and ensure no scrap is created with minimal re-work outside of the design.
