Production Coordinator / Expeditor £25,000–£28,000 | Days | Engineering & Manufacturing An established precision engineering and manufacturing business is looking for a Production Coordinator / Expeditor to help coordinate and progress work through its busy manufacturing operation. This is a varied role combining production coordination, administration and communication, so we're looking for someone organised and proactive who is comfortable speaking with people across an engineering business. The Role Monitor and progress jobs through production Chase outstanding work, components and information Liaise with production, engineering and other departments Help ensure manufacturing schedules and customer requirements are achieved Maintain accurate production and administrative records Identify potential delays and ensure they are communicated Provide general administrative support around the production process What We're Looking For Some previous experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment is essential. You don't necessarily need to be an engineer, but you should understand how a manufacturing or production environment operates. You'll also need: Good administration and organisational skills Confident communication skills A proactive approach to chasing and progressing work Good attention to detail The confidence to communicate with people on the shop floor as well as office-based teams Previous experience as a Production Coordinator, Expeditor, Progress Chaser, Production Administrator, Manufacturing Administrator or Production Planning Assistant would be particularly relevant.
