Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced Panel Wirer to join an electrical assembly team. This is a hands-on role focused on wiring and assembling control panels for advanced systems used in food processing and automation.
Ideal for someone with a strong background in control wiring and Panel Wirer build, this position offers long-term career progression and exposure to varied, small-batch production.
Key Responsibilities:

Wire and assemble low-voltage control panels (110–600V AC, single & three-phase; 24V DC)

Read and interpret electrical schematics (EPLAN), mechanical layouts, and BOMs

Install and terminate components including:
-
Circuit breakers, relays, solenoid valves
-
Inverter drives, Soft Starts, Contactors
-
HMIs and PLCs (Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Siemens)
-

Build junction boxes, MCCs, HMI enclosures, and multi-door cabinets
-
Use hand and power tools for layout, drilling, and component mounting
-
Perform continuity testing and basic functional checks
-
Maintain a clean and organised workbench

Work closely with design and test engineers under supervisor guidance
Skills & Experience:

Minimum 4 years’ experience in control panel wiring or electrical assembly

Strong understanding of AC/DC control systems

Skilled in wire preparation, crimping, ferrule termination, and routing

Able to read and work from electrical schematics and layout drawings

High attention to detail and consistent build quality

Confident using workshop tools and following safe working practices

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Desirable Qualifications:

Formal electrical qualifications or completed apprenticeship

Experience with EPLAN software and BOM interpretation
