As a chemist - Laboratory Technician / Lab Operator in an industrial manufacturing setting, you will support day-to-day lab activities, including formulation and blending work, coordinating tests, and preparing samples for dispatch. Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to maintaining high health & safety standards within the lab
  • Prepare and blend formulations following established procedures and timelines
  • Accurately record and maintain experimental data and results
  • Coordinate and dispatch samples to internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to support lab activities
  • Ensure all work meets required technical and quality standards
  • Provide general support across laboratory and wider technology teams

Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree or background in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Industrial/Process Chemistry or similar
  • Some laboratory or manufacturing experience (placement, internship, or work-based)
  • Interest in formulation or blending (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
