A new position for an experienced Panel Wireperson (Electrical Panel Wirer / Control Panel Wirer) is urgently required for a leading engineering services company for new upcoming projects.
A skilled Panel Wireperson will assist with the assembly and wiring of control panels for industrial and infrastructure clients. This role would suit individuals experienced in reading and interpreting technical drawings and completing high-quality panel builds.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and wire electrical control panels from mechanical layouts and schematic diagrams.
- Use a range of hand tools to assemble components to specification.
- Check wiring, routing, and labelling to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Work independently while maintaining communication with supervisors and engineers.
- Handle Rittal enclosures and components (preferred).
- Proven panel wiring/assembly experience.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and wiring schematics.
- Competent with hand tools and workshop practices.
- Experience with Rittal products is advantageous.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to meet project build deadlines.
- Start: Most likely February, possibly sooner dependent on availability.
- Duration: February to April with possible extension.
- This role will be onsite or at a client (this is not a remote role).
- Must be able to drive (to get to clients' sites on occasion).
