We are urgently seeking an experienced Welder/Fabrication Engineer to join a leading manufacturing and engineering services company supporting exciting upcoming projects for both UK and export clients.
This is a hands-on, varied role working on the construction of processing equipment, combining practical welding and fabrication with collaboration across the production team and, occasionally, client sites.
Pay: PAYE: £20/hr (but this is a permanent role) - shifts as per below + overtime etc
Key Responsibilities
·Carry out welding and fabrication in stainless steel (1.0mm – 12mm thickness), including pipework/purge.
·Work with TIG and Synergic MIG welding processes.
·Read and interpret engineering drawings, understanding tolerances, bend allowances, and fabrication standards.
·Maintain high-quality standards on all projects, whether in the factory or onsite.
·Follow Health & Safety policies and maintain discipline, hygiene, and attendance standards.
·Collaborate effectively as part of a team.
Requirements
·City & Guilds qualification in Welding and Fabrication, or apprenticeship in a recognised engineering environment is advantageous.
·Experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment (industrial equipment / factory). xgikmsk
·Strong practical fabrication skills and familiarity with sheet metal machinery.
