Commercial Manager c70k + Bonus + Car Allowance UK Wide ABJ7293 As an experienced Commercial Manager collaborating with senior leaders in UK/ France you will lead a team of sales and technical functions to support the sales targets for a global company. As commercial manager you will provide technicalsupport to customers across the UK increasing market presence in the UK/Ireland and creating a sustainable platform for expansion and business development. Home based variable locations Key Responsibilities Developing and implementing commercial activities in good coordination with the other departments. Management of the technical and sales representatives. Developing a sustainable business platform with a shared vision for the business internally and with selected customers and distribution partners. Working closely with the portfolio team and actively participating in the creation, evaluation, and selection of projects, and contribute to the development of the regional strategy of the portfolio. Implement the strategic directions, and actively contribute to discussions and business strategies to ensure short and long-term sustainable growth of business in EMEA Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities. With the Portfolio and Marketing teams, develop and execute the pre-launch and launch plans for new products and innovations entering the market. Lead the work to achieve the sales and profit budget set for the region. Develop and lead execution of sales effectiveness programs across the market in agreement with the Commercial Director. Develop sales plans for the UK and Ireland. Propose new projects or Product life cycle management investments that fit the local market’s needs, directly impacting and driving sales forward, ensuring a sustainable business. Ensure the transfer of technical and marketing knowledge from the Portfolio and Development teams to the country sales and technical team. To lead the formation of the local team in the British Isles Develop the team and each individual to foster and maintain motivation and sense of urgency, Identify high-potential employees and propose and support their professional development plans. Qualifications / Experience Bachelors degree in Agronomy or Agricultural related fields is essential. MBA is desirable. Knowledge of the agricultural /horticultural marks Experience of working in a commercial environment, within the agrichemicals / agrochemicals industry. Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets. High levels commercial acumen Team management looking to grow a team in this field / Collaborative Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to understand technical information. Able to effectively manage and maintain peer and business relationships with a high degree of integrity. Strong interpersonal skills; written, verbal and listening Proactive & enthusiastic individual with a self-driven and motivated attitude Ability to travel as required with the role.
