Press Brake / Machine Operator Nights Basingstoke, Hampshire 18.50 per hour + Overtime + Benefits Permanent Nights | Training Provided Are you a Machine Operator, Production Operative or Fabrication Operative looking to develop your skills and train as a CNC Press Brake Operator? We re recruiting for an established UK manufacturer in Basingstoke offering an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing, engineering or workshop experience to develop into a skilled Press Brake Operator. Previous press brake experience is not essential. If you re practical, comfortable working around machinery and have the right attitude and aptitude to learn, full training and support will be provided. The Role Working within the fabrication department, you ll be trained to: Set and operate CNC press brake machinery Select and set tooling for different jobs Read engineering drawings and job instructions Produce accurate sheet metal components Use measuring equipment and carry out quality checks Work with mild steel, stainless steel and galvanised materials Identify and resolve basic production issues The company operates Amada and LVD press brakes, and you ll work alongside experienced colleagues while developing your skills.
