A well-established SME manufacturing organisation is seeking a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to support its production facility. The company operates large-scale manufacturing equipment supplying sectors such as defence and offshore energy. This role would suit a hands-on engineer with strong mechanical maintenance, machining and workshop skills, who enjoys working in a practical production environment. Welding capability (essential) (e.g. MIG or ARC). Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will support both planned preventative and reactive maintenance programmes, helping maximise plant reliability and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). With in-house design and manufacturing expertise, the company offers excellent long-term stability and career development opportunities. Shift: 7:00am 3:30pm (some overtime available).
