We are urgently seeking an experienced Welder/Fabrication Engineer to join a leading manufacturing and engineering services company supporting exciting upcoming projects for both UK and export clients. This is a hands-on, varied role working on the construction of processing equipment, combining practical welding and fabrication with collaboration across the production team and, occasionally, client sites. Pay: PAYE: Β£20/hr (but this is a permanent role) - shifts as per below + overtime etc Carry out welding and fabrication in stainless steel (1.0mm 12mm thickness), including pipework/purge. Work with TIG and Synergic MIG welding processes. Read and interpret engineering drawings, understanding tolerances, bend allowances, and fabrication standards. Maintain high-quality standards on all projects, whether in the factory or onsite. Follow Health & Safety policies and maintain discipline, hygiene, and attendance standards. City & Guilds qualification in Welding and Fabrication, or apprenticeship in a recognised engineering environment is advantageous. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment (industrial equipment / factory). Strong practical fabrication skills and familiarity with sheet metal machinery. Contract Details - Hours: 39 hours/week, Monday Friday Friday: 7:30 12:00 (unless working overtime) Breaks: 10-minute morning break, 30-minute lunch. Overtime: hourly rate MondayFriday and Saturday mornings if required; a reasonable amount of overtime may be requested by Supervisors or Managers.
