As a Production & Assembly Operative, you’ll be part of a skilled team responsible for assembling and packing a variety of electronic products. You’ll work to high standards of accuracy and quality, ensuring customer requirements are met on time and in full.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete daily tasks to maximise productivity
- Work flexibly across different production lines (cells)
- Maintain tools, instructions, and workspaces to 6S standards
- Contribute ideas for continuous improvement
- Report any quality or safety concerns to your manager
- Collaborate with colleagues across Engineering, Quality, Customer Service, and Warehousing
- Follow defined processes and procedures precisely
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in production or warehousing within a manufacturing environment
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to assemble small components using hand tools
- Ability to follow instructions and technical diagrams
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team to meet production targets
- Physically fit and able to handle heavier parts using safe manual handling techniques
- Competent in reading and communicating in English
- Soldering experience is a plus
