We are currently recruiting for a 5 Axis CNC Operator to join a well-established manufacturing and precision engineering company based in Hayes. This role involves operating 5 Axis Kitamura CNC machining centres with Fanuc controls within a busy production environment, manufacturing high-quality engineered components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate 5 Axis Kitamura CNC machining centres
  • Work with Fanuc control systems
  • Load and unload components and tooling
  • Monitor machining operations and ensure quality standards are maintained
  • Read and work from engineering drawings and production documentation
  • Carry out basic quality inspections using measuring equipment
  • Maintain machine cleanliness and good housekeeping standards
  • Support production and manufacturing operations as required
  • Follow company health & safety procedures at all times

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience operating CNC machinery within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Experience with 4 Axis or 5 Axis CNC machines preferred
  • Fanuc controls experience beneficial
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers and micrometers
  • Good attention to detail and quality standards
  • Reliable and proactive approach to work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
